When I ran for city council, I promised to bring ‘kitchen table common sense’ to our city council. Here’s my report card on what I did, and I ask for your support to continue working for you for the next four years.
– Adrienne Fraley-Monillas

Holding the line on costs

  • Voted against giving the City of Woodway subsidized Edmonds Police service, which cost Edmonds residents about $200,000 a year
  • Worked with city employees to stabilize costs so we didn’t have to raise taxes
  • Will NEVER vote to cut police or fire protection

Supports our downtown

  • Voted NO on raising building heights – an issue I campaigned on four years ago
  • Supported development of Hazel Miller Plaza
  • Against coal trains polluting our waterfront
  • Voted to give the downtown business owners more say in the newly created business improvement district

Outside the West perspective

  • As one of the few councilmember’s who live outside the downtown “view corridor,” Adrienne brings a different perspective on issues
  • Supporter of the Interurban trail to connect us to Shoreline and Mountlake Terrace
  • Supporter of redeveloping Highway 99, Westgate, 5 corners and Firdale
  • Helped put citizens back into the land use permitting process, allowing citizens to appeal to the council BEFORE going to court
